We advise that you test your wedding hair and make-up beforehand with the same therapist you use for the big day.
Your tests should be 1-3 months before the wedding, and you should ensure you are the same skin tone that you plan to be on the day. If you are planning to have a spray tan before your wedding, make sure you have one two days before your make-up tests too.
Have a think about the looks that you would like to trial for each test. Make sure you wear them all day long, moving and dancing around as much as you will on the big day.

However, we recommend that you use a second therapist so that your therapist can focus entirely on you, creating the bespoke look that you have decided on in your tests.
It’s worth considering a hair and make-up test for the Mother of the Bride to ensure that they feel confident on the day.
We recommend booking all wedding treatments through our Secret Spa team who will personally arrange everything for you.
Book two practice spray tans. Try out a lighter and deeper colour to find which you prefer for a natural healthy glow.
Make sure you have your spray tans two days before your make-up trials so your make-up artist can work with the colour you’ll be on the day.

For clear and glowing skin on the big day, we recommend you book a consultation and initial treatment with a Secret Spa facialist six months before.
Your therapist will be able to recommend a bespoke routine suitable for your skin type that you can carry out at home and you should also schedule in facials roughly once a month.
The last facial should take place three weeks before the wedding date to avoid any break-outs on the big day.
